Joan is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and has spent most of her career as an analyst covering the regulated and semi-regulated industries. Before working with Westminster Financial as the firm’s internal analyst, she worked in many significant research departments and national and regional firms. Joan earned her degree in Finance and Accounting from Roosevelt University. She also has a degree from the Art Institute of Chicago in Interior Design. Joan is a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago, Financial Women in Banking, and the CFA Society. She is the Chairman of the Financial Stock Association of Chicago and was formerly Chairman of the Chicago Woman’s Club. Joan has guest spoken at Roosevelt University and Kenwood Academy on the topics of financial reports and analysis. She holds her Series 7, 63, 65, 86 and 87 licenses. Joan ranked a four-star rating in Electric Utility earnings forecasts and a four-star rating in Water Utility earnings forecasts by Zachs Investment Services in 2002. She was also noted as an exceptional analyst by the WSJ and by Starmine in rankings. In her free time, Joan enjoys spending time with her family, surfing the web, and enjoying her hometown Chicago.
